I give this book a 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️rating!

At the beginning, I felt this book was a little all over the place! I question why some parts are in the story but over all, I think the author may have been trying to get a mixed audience! I'm sure that has been achieved!

This book has enough romance, sexual tension and violence to keep people interested! I personally am left wondering what will happen next, if Nick actually killed his father, if his father returned sometime in the night, if Jase ended up killing the dad or what?? I also am left wondering if Nick will return and be there for her and the baby? 

I must question why tell us the whole gruesome story of this girls rape and end the book without more closure? I'm thankful the author made it so this girl finally tells the truth to nick about what really happened, but extremely frustrated that this whole thing was so wordy and left more questions than answers! 

Here's to hoping the continuation of this story answers all these questions and it doesn't take years to find out! Here's also to hoping the author decides to relate some of Nicks pov in future books and also hoping the lead girl gets her act together and doesn't run to another's safe arms! Sorry if that was harsh, but who really leaves a 5 year relationship and shows up in a hotel and falls madly in love with a stranger? And also, am I the only person who was not totally creeped out by some,most or all of big parts of this book? There is no fricking way in hell I would ever be able to sit down and have dinner with my rapist!!!!

I received this book as an advanced readers copy in exchange for my review and honest opinion, and I pray I do this amazing book justice in the words to follow! 

The very first thing I want it say is, if you have not read this book as of this second, then go buy it NOW! This story is a breathe of fresh air! It is overwhelming and heart breaking! It is so real and devastatingly painful! I have never ever wanted to call an author and beg them, yes beg them to please tell me what happens next! I do not need or want to do this because this story has a terrible cliffhanger that makes you nuts, but because it has closure and you just want more. You as a reader will have an insane need to know how it continues! 

I have read stories that have made me cry, that have broken my heart, but never ever have I read one that I could actually feel pain, breaking my heart piece by piece. This story is that one piece that will change you as a reader! Away, will build you up and let you see happiness in its purest form, it will show you unconditional love from small towns and give you the desire to get in your car and go find one for yourself. It will give you a new perspective on how you should cherish every single day and every single moment and will solidify your knowledge of following your heart, no matter what else is happening, be where your heart tells you to be!

I was given this book in exchange for a review on my thoughts...

I give this book a 3.5 star rating... And here is why...

I found this book to be pretty saucy & a little smokin....  I generally am not a huge fan on straight up Erotica! I usually feel as if I am stuck in a bad porn movie & just cant wait to get out.. Thankfully our author friends added enough information about the characters to make it a little more of a story then just a full out sex-scapade! I am truly thankful for that!

With that being said... I guess once I have more of their story, I may understand this a little better, but I was a little lost & I honestly felt as if our lead girl was a little bit of a slut! HA! I mean come on, who randomly shows up at someone's house they have not seen in years & is ready to get it on without a little catching up?!?! This is just my opinion.... & Mr. Man Slut wasn't much better in this area... Kicking one chic out for another is just WRONG!!!

Overall, I feel if you are looking for a story with a lot of sex scenes, this is the book for you... But call me old fashion, I like to have a little more of a story line & a whole lot more romance! I guess this is because I could never imagine EVER me doing something like this! Which leads me to put this title with my other collection of Science Fiction - Although I guess I would really put it in my EROTICA Fiction... Just something I cant possibly imagine happening...

Enough Rambling though.. The story was written by two ladies who at least have a head on their shoulders & know how to spell, so that puts them way out in front of other erotica writers already! I will keep following this story, just because I am interested in seeing what else develops... So ladies, you have at least got me curious!

I give this book a 3.5 star rating... & Here is why...

Ok so everyone knows I am a die hard Jenn Foor fan! I think I have purchased every book she has ever published, the second it was released... so for me to have only given a 3.5 star rating is not only a shocker to me, but it breaks my heart! :(

I thought this book was a good (not great, not fantastic) second in the series! After reading book 1 - Repair me, I was super eager to see where this would go! I LOVED BOOK 1!! Although, for me, this book did not meet my expectations.... 

I thought Lacey was a big time whiner, the girl really needed to grow up. Reading her parts was sometimes painful & I felt like I was reading the same thing over & over again! I feel she put Joey through unnecessary crap! If the truth be told, I really felt he should have walked away from her childish, cheating ass! I mean really, who has closure sex?  I guess that is the good part about being a writer, you can make these characters do whatever you want! 

As for Shayne, I am glad he realized he could never be more than just friends with Lacey, she did not deserve him anyway! Although mentioning Shayne, since this book was suppose to be Lacey & Shayne's story, why not let him realize he fell in love with Ashley earlier in the story? Why not expand on Shayne & Ashley in this book? What about Megan? What is the point of bringing her into the story? I can only assume later we will find out... But I am still trying to figure out the point of her in all of this.

I guess instead of this book being Lacey & Shayne's story, it should be thought of as just Lacey's.. I mean it bounces back & forth between the two of them, so I would have thought it would have given us some closure on both! Yeah, it kinda does since she fell hard for Joey & he fell hard for Ashley, but, I did not see it happening this way! 

Next issue with this book would be - the sex scenes... I love a good erotica novel, don't get my wrong, but there were parts of this story I felt went beyond erotica and fell straight into grotesque. It was almost as bad as watching a terrible porn! 

Lastly, at times I was totally lost due to the missing words, shortened sentences and grammatical errors. I felt the author was just in a hurry to release this book! After some revisions, I think this book could be amazing! 

Note to Jenn Foor... - If you would like a beta reader or editor, who is dedicated to helping you grow and not hinder you, let me know! I will gladly make notations and help with spelling errors, grammar checks and make sure that the readers getting your book will not be able to complain about these items! I Love Your Work & am truly disappointed in this one! This will not stop me from getting EVERY book you release, but I pray this is not a downward spiral! 

Either way - If you have read the first book in this series and have any interest in continuing to follow "Kin Series", my suggestion is to read this & be patient!

I received this book in exchange for my opinion and as always, here goes!! 

4.5 stars!!!

Wow! From the beginning, I thought this book was going to be like any other romance! Boy was I wrong! This book sucked me in and kept me! It has enough romance to keep people of that genre happy, then you add in the fashion tips, which is totally amazing and you have now gotten yourself another crowd, the fashion guru's, add on top of that the suspense, and yet another group adds to the plate! 

This story has a perfect balance of darkness and light! There are parts that will make you laugh until tears begin to pour (Falling off the desk!! OMG, I almost pee'd myself) and enough fear to have you gripping the edge of your seat! (The ending)! Which leads to my missing half star! I hate cliffhangers! Therefore books with them always lose .5! Sorry! I totally get this is a good way to suck fans in and know they will come back for more, but they suck! 

Anyway! I loved this first book and recommend it highly!

I totally rate this with 5 of the biggest stars I have ever given!!!

First let me say if you have not read the other books in the "Seaside Series" then I must ask, WHY THE HECK NOT? Go BUY ONE NOW!!! Please... At the bottom you will find links to the other books in this series!

Ok so onto my review now! 

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! Totally romantic & every girls dream of her happily ever after! This book is upbeat, totally amazing, funny, and makes me feel as though I have a ginormous pocket full of sunshine! Of course it also leaves me asking the question, where in the heck do I sign up for one? One of what you are asking, an amazing rock star to sweep me off of my feet! Someone who totally pours their heart & soul into us and makes me feel as if I am the only thing in life that matters?!?! Please let me know where to go in order to find this kind of happiness! I want it!

Anyway... This story is a continuation in the series and yes it is based around Nat & Alec, with guest stars Demetri & Alyssa... & of course mentioning Jaymeson! (I am not sure I can wait until the spring for his story, ugh!)

I also have to say that I absolutely love that parts of this story are based in Canon Beach! I've actually been there & other than the fact that even in July you will freeze your butt off on the beach, I'm not sure there is any place I would rather be! So I could totally picture the beach scene's!

As with all of the books in this series, I did not put my IPad down until the last words & I loved every part of it! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us Rachel & I pray to the book God's that you keep releasing books in a fast forward fashion for your faithful loving fans! (Not trying to be stalker obsessed, I swear!) hahaha!

I enjoyed the introductions of new characters and the old characters still being a part of it! The author has introduced enough new people to be able to write tons of books around them! I am eager to keep going!

Now with that being said, I totally freaking loved this book, minus a couple not so nice, vicious individuals! I'm not a fan of back stabbing deceitful people, and I'm glad that the characters and I agree they should all be hit with a huge wave in the ocean!
